Celebrating Samoyeds In North Texas Since 2002
|
|
ABOUT NTSFI North Texas Samoyed Fanciers, Inc. (NTSFI) was founded in 2002 by a group of individuals in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas metroplex who own and love Samoyed dogs. Our membership quickly expanded, and today our membership represents more than 400 years of experience in the Samoyed breed!
Also, NTSFI has been supporting the entries for the Ft. Worth Kennel Club and Texas Kennel Club shows. Our last such supported entry, in the spring of 2006, also included Puppy and Veterans Sweepstakes. The Club seeks to provide support, resources and activities for Samoyed owners with many diverse interests. Our members are active participants in conformation, obedience, agility, utility and therapy, as well as "working dog" activities.
One of
our primary causes as a club is Samoyed rescue. To that end, we assist and
support North Texas Samoyed Rescue, Inc. This 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation works to
rescue and rehabilitate rescued Samoyeds, finding "forever homes" for them with
loving families. Many NTSFI events, including garage sales, online auctions and
raffles at our Sanctioned Matches, are held to benefit Samoyed rescue. For more
information about North Texas Samoyed Rescue, Inc., click
here. NTSFI monthly meetings are designed to provide education, fellowship and fun for our membership. We have guest speakers such as veterinarians, nutritionists, behaviorists, grooming experts, pharmaceutical companies and more. Meetings are held on the first Friday of every month in the home of one of our members. For more information about membership, or to attend the next meeting, please click here.
