Sanctioned Matches

North Texas Samoyed Fanciers has held two AKC-Sanctioned B/OB Matches.  Now that we have received Sanctioned "A" status from the American Kennel Club (AKC),  we are making plans to hold the first of two Sanctioned A/OA Matches, which are the the last step in AKC licensing.  By this time next year, we hope to have full AKC licensed status, which will enable us to hold regional Samoyed specialty shows!

Here's a brief description of our past Matches:

  •  The Rose Creek Training & Boarding Center in Red Oak was the site of our first B/OB Match on October 30, 2004.  Ms. Robin Cohen judged conformation, and Mrs. Sally Leubke was our obedience judge.

Connie (Galaxy's Constellation), owned by Diane Dotson, won Best Of Match at NTSF's first AKC-Sanctioned B/OB Match.  She showed like a champ!

  •  Our second AKC-Sanctioned B/OB Match was held on Satuday, May 13, 2006, at the North Texas Fair Grounds, after BIS in the Denton Kennel Club show. Our thanks to judges, Mr. David Williams (conformation) and Mrs. Ann Hogue (obedience).

Everyone's beaming at Chance's (Avalanche's Winter Blitz) big win as Best Of Match -- including Chance himself! Chance is owned and loved by Colleen FitzGerald.
